The expert discussion on digital participation organised by Aktion Mensch was held on May 26 and May 29.
In three groups, more than 30 experts discussed relevant topics on the encouragement and promotion of digital participation.
Our project partner PIKSL actively supported Aktion Mensch in the preparation and organization of this event.
Susanne Dirks from the TU Dortmund University presented the Easy Reading project in discussion group 2 (Participation of people with disabilities in the creation of digital change) as a good example of inclusive development of assistive technologies.
Klaus Miesenberger from JKU Linz discussed in group 3 (Media Literacy as a Prerequisite for Digital Participation) the potential of the Easy Reading Framework for improving the media literacy of people with learning disabilities.
